What was the highlight of Hiru resort and kitesurfing
Fabulous location, friendly staff, and a quiet and relaxing stay!
The hotel was located in a fabulous location, walking distance to the Kudawe beach. The beach was very clean and beautiful. This was close to the sand dunes and we could see both the sea and the lagoon. The staff was very friendly. Especially the host (a friendly man in his 50's) was very genuine and friendly. The food was excellent. The Sri Lankan breakfast was top-notch and we ate more than we usually do because it was just so tasty! The room was so spacious (we took the family room) and the pool was big and very picturesque. Overall a great stay in a lovely and calm location. We stayed during the off-season, so the hotel was very calm and quiet.
The hotel could use more maintenance. It could be even better if they put a bit more effort into maintaining its surroundings a bit better. The bathroom showers need replacement/fixing because they run on hard water most of the time. The curtains of the rooms could be thicker to maintain the cooling of the AC units. But maybe I'm just being picky.

Spacious room with very big beds Fine balcony Large swimming pool that can be used for swimming - not just a children’s playground There are good basic restaurants in the area
Place needs additional cleaning Staff is not trained sufficient to know their tasks and how to carry them out Staff is hard to find when needed but likely connected to few visitors Restaurant is confusing

« Plage de rêve. »
.L'emplacement à 350 mètres d'une plage de rêve. Le personnel très agréable et disponible.. La piscine.. La restauration pas au top mais plusieurs bons petits restaurants alentours.. Nous sommes restés 4 nuits. Si soucis ou questions adressez vous à Imran il fait des miracles..
